Today marks the end of Week 2 on the BLC Spring into Action Challenge team as well as the end of Week 4 of the Winter-1 Challenge Team. Two teams? Yes, at first I thought maybe it would be too much or maybe even confusing, but the truth is the challenges, although different for each team, work together to push me in the right direction.
On the Winter-1 Challenge team exercise equals miles, these miles move your team closer to it's weekly goal.
It's a global race
, a race to land your team at a weekly destination before the other teams.
The BLC challenges include daily strength training exercises, cardio, and bonuses. The BLC team has definitely increased the amount of strength training I have participated in since beginning on SparkPeople. This is my first BLC Challenge and right now the challenges appear to be friendly inter-team challenges for points, one half of the team against the other. I'm not quite sure how we are competing against the other teams. Hopefully, I will figure this out before the end of the challenge.
Until then, I eat healthy, track my food, drink water, exercise, and do the weekly challenges. Hopefully, this means a lower # each week on the scale.
