heart attack averted

so I think my wife is trying to kill me. this evening we started a new tradition of walking around the neighborhood. so see has it all mapped out, we get our shoes on, and head out the door. keep in mind that i didn't ask to see how far or anything. i figured down the road a little bit or a couple of blocks. well we start out and get down the road and i asked "so are we just going to this block then back home" she said "said no its about four more blocks" i gasp and say "ok, I will walk to end of this road and then head home"

    I found your blog on Sparkpeople, so I was just stopping by to read about you. You are both doing so very well. Exercise is key for losing weight. I just learned that myself. I was trying to lose by just eating less and I wasn't getting anywhere. I bought a treadmill and now I walk for 2 hours a day. Here in Arizona it is too hot most of the year to walk outside. I get too hot.
    I like what you and your wife are doing TOGETHER. I think that is so awesome. Keep it up! emoticon

    Dont you just love kids. They see and say the obvious. Hope you'll keep up with the walking, even if it is just to the end of the block and back.

    I used to walk a lot, up hill, etc. and I got away from it. How at 265 lbs and bad knees, walking is a memory. Anyway, I decided to walk around the block one morning. I was 1/2 way there and woman came running over to me to see I needed some water and to sit for a few minutes. Geeze, I must have looked really good.

    I'm going to try again this spring after a I lose like 40 lbs.
