The Fruits of My Labor

I am sitting here thinking how great it is to be able to wear a green shirt that I really didn't think that I'd be able to wear today.

Last night I went through some clothes looking for a green shirt to wear today.Since my weight has been up and down the last 10 years I have clothes that have fit me along the way at one time or another.

I picked out 3 green shirts.I honestly thought that only one of them would fit me.That shirt was a heavier knit long sleeved shirt. This morning I took the plunge and tried on one of the other two shirts and to my my surprise it fit.I am wearing it now as I type this.

I've lost almost 15 pounds since January first and have been exercising just about every day thanks to my Walk It Out Wii workout game. It's nice to see my hard work "pay" off in wearing some clothes that I had no idea would even fit.

I haven't tried any spring clothes on yet since we have still been experiencing colder winter like weather.Yesterday it was only in the mid 40's and the day before it was only in the upper 30's.

Today it is heading into the mid 60's and tomorrow it might even reach 70.With our weather warming up that means I will be trying on my spring clothes.I am hoping that I will be able to wear some spring clothes that I haven't worn in a few years.

I will keep on moving, moving, moving it and eating healthier.Anyone for some hot green tea and steel cut oatmeal this morning? I'd be happy to share my breakfast with you. emoticon emoticon emoticon
