Oh well.

Well, I was turned down for "The Biggest Loser".
I guess I told them too much of what I'd done and what I'd already lost.
I guess others need it more than me.

I agree with everything said Chris. Such a shame as you could have been a great inspiration and a super motivator to others with your attitude and experience.

I reckon you just were not big enough - they wouldn't see the 6lbs /10lbs weight loss that people have come to expect per week on the Biggest loser - you probably wouldn't have shed stones by the end of it like some larger contestants might.

This is not a personal reflection on you - it is a poor reflection on them that they can't see how great you would have been for them.

Their loss not yours. Your gain is your weight loss to date.

So sorry to hear your news Chris but if it's any consolation, as previously stated, you have already come so far not only in weight loss but in many other parts of your life as well. As you yourself have said before, 'Onwards ever Onwards'

So sorry to hear that Chris! You were looking forward to it. Remember, when one door closes another one opens! I am sure there is something better somewhere! Its their loss!

Chris I am sorry you were turned down, but yes you're probably right, you've done so well on your own (and with us of course!!) that you don't need them. Lets hope whoever had "your" place makes good use of it.

I think that everyone has already said everything that needs to be said. You have already been so successful that maybe they want people to be HUGE to start with, plus there is always the drama side of it all.

You've done fantastically well so far Chris. Keep on doing your thing and you'll be just great! You already inspire so many people on here.

You are still a Biggest Loser. You're right! There might have been someone else who needed it more. Keep your head high though. You are an amazing inspiration!

Such a shame, you were really hoping for this - but I think you may already be too much of a winner already by losing so much - so yes, they're probably taking on contestants who don't have your motivation, willpower and knowledge.

But by being turned down in itself makes you too much of a success for their programme - Howz that for recognition.

Find your next challenge and run with that instead.

    Chin up.
