damn late night snacking!

My goal for this week is to stop the late night snacking! I get bored, I wanna associate eating with relaxing and it may be at the time but not the next day or that night when I am adding it to my nutrition tracker! I have been staying in my calorie range for the most part(not last night , pizza yum! ) But I use it as an excuse to eat more even when I am not hungry! So my goal instead of having the cherries AND the 100 calorie popcorn at night is to just have one! I have been feeling okay about everything but I want to feel GREAT about everything.
My exercise has been phenominal and I have been working really hard! I actually got in 6 out of 7 days this week and burned 3834 calories!Wow! I am proud of that and it has been fun to hike with different friends throughout the week and spend that time bonding over spirituality and fitness rather than food!I have a feeling though after my hike this morning that my legs are not so fond of all the running I have been doing on the trails as I had painful shin splints. I am going to take a break tomorrow from the mountain and just workout with my pt and do a little cardio on the treadmill. I will revisit the mountain wednesday but will not run if my legs dont wanna!
The weather here in Phoenix just beckons me out hiking I am soaking up every last opportunity before it turns into a giant oven here! I am feeling grateful for my life and my health and feeling strong:-) Jennfit22 inspired me to think of my mantra in life and for now it is "I am positivity" ! Thanks Jenn!
