100 Days to Summer Challenge- First Entry

Sunday, March 13, 2011

Well, I considered doing a video blog, but having a very emotional day today, so not so great for the camera. Maybe my second challenge entry I will. I have joined the 100 days to summer challenge so I am supposed to set a goal and post my beginning weight. My beginning weight is 190 lbs. Although I want to set a goal to lose 2 lbs a week, I think I will shoot a little more realistic for me. My goal is to lose 15 lbs by June 21. When I accomplish this, it will be a huge accomplishment for me. I have only been able to lose maybe 8 lbs and then I start going up and down again. So this is my goal. I have a million excuses to not accomplish it, but I have one most important reason to accomplish this. IT IS FOR ME. I NEED TO FEEL ACCOMPLISHED SOMEWHERE. Right now my life is spinning and there are so many situations going on that I have absolutely no control over changing. So by concentrating on this for now, maybe it will give me the strength to get through the rest of this "stuff." It is worth a try. Like that saying, it is better to try to reach for the stars, then shoot for nothing and get it. Something like that....well, hopefully you know what I mean. emoticon

You are doing this for you and i believe you can do this and accomplish it.....
Purposing our mind to achieve something can make a big difference even when we have dramas going on around us.....

One day at a time is a good key to achievements....
