"I need to look at what has happened and note that progress is always there - as long as I breathe I am moving."

So true! I wonder why it's so common for many people (including me) to behave so badly towards oneself? I don't remember from where, but I got the advice to behave towards myself like I would to a dear friend. Sometimes they can need a stern talking to, but mostly they need a hug and encouragement when something doesn't go according to plan.

Progress not perfection, that's what I always hear, and I believe it is correct. I'm glad you had a good week.

Perfection is a sterile thing. Life should not be sterile. I'm glad your week has been a good one, especially in light of your trepidations for the start of it. You are so right to be positive
