Celtic Thunder is on PBS - I like listening to them.
Today I played with my niece and nephews outside and inside, had a great time! We walked around the woods and around the house. Later, I walked with my puppy in my back field.
Slightly cold, but sunny; a nice day to be outside, also lifted my spirits.
I ate too many cookies with my niece and youngest nephew (a toddler). The box sat right there - too tempting!
I need to get up, moving, and exercising everyday. I seem to always find a reason not too... I hurt, tired, mentally "off", its cold and dreary outside, etc.
I realize the only legitimate reason is when my docs tell me to ease up; like yesterday, my neck was out severely and my hip was out. (I have back issues.) So I am on a limited easy walk program for the next several days. We (doc and I) don't want to aggravate my neck or hip.
The bursitis in my shoulder is acting up again (over a month now) so I had to stop any weight-lifting with my arms. I realize I miss the strength training for my arms and shoulders. We hope I will be able to start back next month, doing PT exercise (at home) for the shoulder.
I also, wanted to thank all my SP friends who are praying for me and have been keeping in touch. I need(ed) to know someone cares and is interested in my days and progress.
I have family and friends who know I'm trying to improve my health and weight, but I can't talk to them about what all is going on, which includes my struggles.
