Much Needed Update!!

Wednesday, March 09, 2011

I've been waiting to find out what's going on before blogging here. So I saw my doctor and did an ultrasound and my ovaries are fine and everything is healed up from the surgery. He said it could be gastronomical and suggested I see my bariatric doctor. Well, I saw my chiropractor on Tuesday and he examined me and said that everything there is fine too, what's happening is that because I had 2 major surgeries in less than a year-and-a-half that it's taking longer for my body to heal. He did start me on some very LIGHT exercise; I have to be really careful right now. But I am starting to have more energy and am feeling better. I also have pretty much quit my pain killers; that alone helped! I only take a low dosage one if I'm having a LOT of pain. I went from taking a strong one every 4-6 hours to taking a low dosage one only twice in a week! So I am doing really well. I just need to take things slow and keep taking baby steps and I will be where I was at. It's just taking longer than I was hoping; I want to finish my personal trainer certification and start working! This not being able to do as much as I want is frustrating, but I know I'll get there! At least I'm still maintaining my weight and I'm working on eating better too. It is hard for me when I can't exercise the way I want, but it's a lot better now. :) I'm having more energy now too. I'm getting there slowly, but surely!

Other than that, not much else new here. Married life is great; I'm so lucky to have such a wonderful and understanding husband. With our taxes we got new computers because our desktops were super slow and my laptop died a few months ago. It's so nice to have a laptop again and to have a fast desktop! They're all Macs. :)

So I think that's all I can think of for now. I hope everyone has a happy, healthy day! emoticon emoticon emoticon

Glad that they checked out out really well and had something positive to tell you. I'm glad you're able to just take a low dosage pain killer now on occasion. That says a lot! You'll get your certification once you're totally healed and ready. Same with working. I'd just enjoy the relaxation and free time right now while you have the opportunity. Pretty soon you'll be rushing around with the rest of the world. :-) Congrats on the new computers! I LOVE new computers!! Enjoy!

    Hey There Dolly You!

Your photo gallery background is incredible!!! LOVEEEEEEE LOVEEEE LOVEEEE IT! Hun I didnt realize you were struggling. I am sorry~so sorry~hardly ever do I see you in the friend feed. Guess we are online at different times. Caught ya this time though!!! emoticon Hooray for that....!

You have my complete empathy where flusteration comes into play about having to take it easy, and soooo longing in our heart and soul to JUST GO-GO-GO! How long have you been in this dr. orders to be good doing these baby steps, rather than getting in there hitting the road with mega energy as your heart so desires? Mercy I just counted mine, and in 20 minutes it will be 9 months exactly! Grrrrr! If I suddenly start cramping, and feel pressure where I shouldn't, ummmm....newly married, you'd love to adopt....right???? ha emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon round as I've gotten in this NO EXERCISE AT ALL TIME....YOU MIGHT GET TWINS! LOL Just what you always wanted.....RIGHT?????? emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon .

Okay SmilinDi will be nice. Calm, cool, and long do you think this will last???? Truly hun, my heart goes out to you, and I will keep you in my prayers. You are such a special friend, and I apologize I miss seeing you in the full status feed, and eeeekkkkk....forget to come by. Short term memory loss is truly "bothering me" that it is real, and it is part of my life now. By the grace of God, and friends praying with me, maybe it won't be 4ever. I love you dearly sweetie. Please take it easy, and enjoy every single second of married life~what a joyful time in life as newly weds.

    My Love Always,
    ~Diane~ emoticon emoticon
