Technology is great, until it isn't

In the saga that is our family computer, we are in the waiting stage. Waiting for the next part to get it fixed. Waiting isn't fun when you have 4 people who all enjoy their hour on the family computer because it has super great speeds... until something burns out and then it doesn't work at all. We got the new power supply last week, a few days later, a motherboard burned out. I don't get into the whole fixing the computer thing, but my husband can work out the problem and get it fixed. Now we are just waiting. The substitute computer is REEEAAALLLYYYY SSSLLLOOOOWWWW....
I feel lucky though: Lucky we have this laptop! Lucky that I don't completely rely on the main computer to get my work done. Lucky that I wasn't in the middle of a big project! Llucky that my husband is computer savy. Lucky that we had money to fix it. Lucky that I could use the library computer which is currently faster than the home computer...
Yep, I am one lucky girl!
Yeah I know I could complain, but it really doesn't make me feel any better. Looking on the bright side of this situation makes me feel good. I can also put my "problems" in perspective. I am not homeless, penniless, hungry, or abused. I have a pretty good life.
Anyhow, I can still spark, slowly, but I can get it done!
