Liquid In, Liquid Out.

Wednesday, March 09, 2011

Hi Pals.

I'm drinking water again. I may as well just start over with another account, but I guess I'll just move forward. Freshen my page, etc. My profile pic seems so old. I had to throw out that great orange hoodie after it got holes in the elbows. I've replaced it with a much more earthy color, which is not nearly as EXPLOSIVE.

Happy to see so many of my old SP friends again! Sad to see some of the ones who've left, or haven't been back in 200+ days. I consider removing some from my friends list, but what if they come back, like I did? Hmm.

I weighed myself, and sadly added the large number to my chart. Egad.

I don't celebrate Lent in a traditional way, but I thought it was a good day to get my orb rolling.

Here's "Liquid In, Liquid Out", by the Thermals.

Yay for water! I was going to get a diet Pepsi than saw your blog so I filled my water bottle instead. See you're having a positive affect (or is it effect?) on others already. I think I teared up when I saw what the scale had to say when I finally bit the bullet and got back on it. It's ok though Al, that number is only temporary. And with each pound you shed you'll feel amazing. I vote for a new pic with the new hoddie too!

Hi Albert! Great to see you! I have been a blog-slacker myself and haven't been around much in the last couple of weeks, but I'm ready to get serious again.

Over in Australia we have had a break in the drought that has been ongoing my entire life. Being Australia this means extreme weather: floods & cyclones this summer. Now we are in Autumn, sigh. At last I can run in cooler air.
Now, you may be thinking why has this spark friend gone way off topic & all weatherman?
Water, dear Albert, water. It is my secret weapon against hunger & tiredness.
Despite our sudden soggy green land, water is to be drunk all day long by me.

Oooh and sleep. Yep. I have a lentin resolution to switch off electrical devices by 11 pm. I started 5 days ago & I feel amazingly energised already!

Welcome back! Love the Thermals. What do you think will be different this time around? I've been on and off SP since 2006 - I'm making changes this time, and I feel like it's going to stick!

I feel the need to see the new hoodie, but most of all I feel the need to drink my water right this very second after the music interlude.

I hear your "egad" and just have to say I said the same thing myself upon my return to the scale. My hubby said something similar if I recall correctly as well upon his return. He has turned his SP page off at the moment, so he can reset his goals and update what he wishes, but he will be back soon, so bare with him in the meantime.

    Let your orb roll!
