A Really Good Day!

Today was a really good day with my eating and workouts. The first week of my new lifestyle change was so tough! It was disappointing to only see 1 pound lost during that first week but I realize that I need to keep moving forward. This is a new week and I'm so glad that I found SPARKPEOPLE. I'm still learning how to use the site so I am frequent visitor. The Success Gallery really motivated me at the start of week 2.
I had so many cravings during the first week. It was so hard to fight them off but I did it! This week is much easier. I am starting to get into the rhythm and no better habits are being formed. I learned one really important lesson and that involves preparation. I succeed when I am prepared. When I have planned my meals and my workouts, I find my program is easier to stick to. I went to Walmart and purchased alot of plastic bowls with lids. This makes it easier for me to portion food and have it readily available in my fridge. Having foods readily available, means I don't cheat because I'm too hungry or too tired to eat properly. That excuse is out the window!
