Relay for Life

Saturday, March 05, 2011

Since joining spark I have become so much more active! Two weekends ago I went on two different hikes in one day, and the following day I walked around town - for a total of about 6 miles the whole weekend!

I have also signed up to go with a group of students on another hike in a few weeks. In addition to the hike, I signed up for Relay For Life. I have had a few people in my life effected by Cancer and this is my way to give back. I am planning to walk a mile for everyone it has touched in my life. I will be walking 6 miles. I am going to pace myself to get this done but I think it is a great goal for me.

So I had a thought about how to raise money for a great cause. I am currently selling Thirty-One products and I get a percentage back of ever order I sell. I plan on giving a percentage of that percentage to the Relay for Life fund.

If you want to get a new bag and to also donate to Relay For Life, let me know! I will be placing an order by March 16th, so let me know soon!

Check out the catalog - www,

Please support a great cause! Email me with any qestions

I also do several 5Ks. I did one last weekend that benefitted the Honor Flight for Veterans. I am doing another on the first week in April and then another on April 30th for the women's abuse shelter. I signed up for our relay for life. It is June 10 and 11th. Look forward to it.

Wow what a great walking weekend you had. I love that you committed to other walks too. Those help us stay focused. In May we are walking in the Susan Komen walk here, both myself and DH. We had done this for a couple years it is a great way to remember those who have passed and those who are fighting. DH lost 2 wives to cancer.
Keep up the great job and please keep writing.
