Pumped and toning!

These past couple of weeks have been really busy, but great!

With working now I am out early in the morning, get home about 6:15pm and then am out at the gym by 7:30pm, getting back home at about 10:00. Hence, the limited amount of blogs I have been keeping. So thought I would do a quick update and then recap at the weekend.

My training is going great! I love my workouts and am certainly feeling the full benefit of what I am doing. My weights are increasing and even though it is very low still the burn and pump that I am getting is awesome. Really concentrating on the contractions all the way through the movement and especially at the peak! I am really enjoying this as I can really feel the muscle and it is great for learning how to tense the muscles.

Saying that one of the lads reckoned that I could not do one squat at 100kg, so to prove him wrong I went and did it. Needless to say he was rather gob-smacked and asked if I had considered competing as I lifted it up fairly easily?

My chest was always one area that I could never really feel properly and so could not tell if I was working it properly and I am pleased to announce that I am now starting to notice the contraction in my chest as I am doing the movements. All because I have started doing pec-deck, which really hurts like hell but it is a good pain!

I am going to stick to my workout routine and maybe just change the weight up a bit as it is still working and as they say "if it aint broke dont fix it".

My diet in general has been a lot better, I have started having sweet potato instead of pasta and it is a lot better. I do not feel so bloated. Only problem is with all this protein it really makes me gassy! lol (Maybe TMI) But hey, not so good when I am in the office as I then end up feeling really bloated and getting trapped wind which makes me really uncomfortable! Not sure what to do about this but need to do something.

Anyway, that is just a quick note about what has happened recently so will keep going and see where it takes me. Blog more at the weekend!

    At least protein farts clear out the squat rack for you to have all to yourself. No one ever suspects the ladies...
