Day 2 and 3 - Week 1 - 5K Walk/Jog Program

On day 2, I went to water aerobics class. We spend an hour in the pool each class and I have to say it is a lot of fun. I'm getting better at the exercises and I'm slowy feeling more comfortable in the water.

On day 3, my husband joined me for my walk. He pushed the stroller so I could focus on jogging when I needed to jog. I did 1.29 miles in 28 minutes. My average pace was a 22 minute mile. I don't know if I did so well because I was trying to pace myself against my husband or if I'm really getting used to walking at a faster pace. He said that he actually had to jog to keep up with my jogging pace. He thought he might be able to power walk and keep up with me. It was great to hear him tell me how proud he is of what I've accomplished so far and that he is extremely proud of me jogging. He'll be joining my son and I on our next walk/jog on Thursday.

Tomorrow is going to be a rest day. I was hoping to go to water aerobics, but I've come down with a cold. My little guy passed it on to me. I'm going to load up on Nyquil before bed and relax tomorrow so I'm ready to go on Thursday.

    I love to walk outside, its still too cold to go where I live. Keep up the good work on your timings. You are doing very well!
