darn easter candy.

Tuesday, March 01, 2011

I did sooooo good today on my food and even started logging the rest of my nutritional info. fat, carbs, etc. and then went to walgreens to get my son some flu medicine and decided to buy him some candy, ya, good job mom, teach him love thru food. ugh.
anyways, left with candy for him and candy for me. I think I am going to send whats left of mine to work with my husband tonight. I may have had a slip up but I refuse to slide all the way down to an empty bag and empty calories! Tommorrow will be a better day.

I'm good about not grabbing candy from the shelves at the peak of the season. My problem comes when it's discounted. How can i pass it up.Fortunately, because I'm low carbing the discounted valentine's day candy didn't get to me.

Tomorrow IS another day. This is a journey not a destination. emoticon

Doggone candy is pushed at every opportunity. It's apparently part of our culture. Well, I guess it's our own fault if we let the marketers pull us in, like they did me with the super-discouted Valentine's Day leftovers. I can empathize and sympathize with you. You're absolutely right about tomorrow being another day. We can't live in the past, but in the present and for tomorrow. God bless!

The Peeps got me. They got me badly when I saw them in EVERY COLOR dominating the CVS Easter candy aisle, which I did NOT mean to walk down!!! NO CADBURY EGGS THIS YEAR! ICK!
