3/1/11 February in Photos

Tuesday, March 01, 2011

Drove around my hometown with my 12 year old GD and took pictures of many of the sets and sights for the movie Twilight. This is Bella's House. If it hadn't been so cold I would have made GD get out of the car so I could get her in the pics. We had a great time. Shortly after this fun activity I was in bed for two weeks with the flu.

I think I am going to sell my accordion so someone can get some good use out of it. I took pictures so I could remember it. It gave me great joy for many years. Think I will get a lightweight keyboard when I can afford it. It won't be so hard on my back.

My sheepy lawn ornaments basking in the 50 degree sunshine.

The neighbors llama came to visit.

Buddy warm and content watching the snow.

Sasha thinks she is a sheep

Rocco and Reno joined our family until DD's ex can get back on his feet

I have heard them, but this was the first time to see mourning doves around here. I was across living room using 10x zoom. When I tried to sneak closer they flew away.

Got some snow

I have been feeling better the last week even though it has been snowing the whole time. I babysat the younger grandchildren last Saturday, but I was out of batteries so did not get pictures of the 7 month old pulling to stand at the table. He is crawling really good now. The three year old is very protective of him, but also a little jealous. She loves books and will sit through stories for 2nd graders. The 7th grader still loves school and has adapted well to all the recent transitions in her life. The older grandsons are all doing well in school and some of them have joined baseball. I wish someone would do track. Although, I do enjoy watching baseball too.

The CFS stabilized at about 50% after I got over the flu. I have found serenity and peace. It took me awhile to let go and have faith in whatever the future brings, but I have found it and am quite happy.

I like your accordian. It looks like the one my dad got my mom back in the early 60's. She gave it to me years ago. I don't play it much, but I think it's fun. It is too big for me so I sit down to play it. Maybe you can too??

Sure enjoyed the pictures and the blog too. Sounds like your doing somewhat better.
Heading off to the Chiropractor again this early AM, I think I'm about healed, then I can get back to exercising again.

Bet the snow was a treat. Feel as good as you can!
I'm learning to cope as well. My DH used to say "Some days you eat the bear; some days the bear eats you". I thought it was a rather odd saying but lately I get it!

Cathy, The photos are wonderful! Wow! Sheep, llamas, a dachshund ( I hope that is the correct breed) , mourning doves..... and more. If you are not feeling well, even taking photos is difficult. I hope you are feeling much better after the flu. It takes us way too long to recuperate. We are loving your photos and life sharings. Thank you for those gifts. You have added to my life and I greatly appreciate that. I am having a "feeling good" streak. I am trying to thank the Lord often for that. I remember sleeping my summer away last year. I will say some prayers for your health and energy. I can see you have tons of interests--even the accordion! emoticon Awesome! Chris
