Monthly eval at LA Fitness was such a let down. I had expected big things. I have doubled my workout time. Been portioning out my food. And I lost nothing on my arms , chest, waist and hips. I lost some on my thighs and calves. Possibly, it could be that my trainer did the measuring instead of the director. He may measure differently than she does. I did lose enough for a free training session.
It's been a little over a month since I joined Spark People. Guess I will just keep plugging along. Got to lose 6 more pound before I will get my hair highlighted again (my reward). Might have sad ugly hair for a long time.

    Having sad, ugly hair sounds like negative reinforcement to me. Perhaps you should pick some other "reward?" emoticon

    Don't be discouraged. Remember the real reward HEALTH! It took me almost a year to lose 5 lbs (yep a year). HOWEVER, I have more energy, my skin looks better, I feel better, my hubby thinks I look great and I actually like to exercise (well, not always). So in the last year, I may have only lost 5 lbs, but, what I gained is priceless. So hang in there GF, you are doing great!
