Tear. Cut. Rip.Shred.Grind. Saw...the root of the problem

Monday, February 28, 2011

Today I was happy to TEAR, CUT, RIP, SHRED, GRIND AND SAW all of the INVASIVE weeds/trees/plants in my yard. I also took a whack at the invasive weeds in my life. I took out Holly trees, blackberry vines, laurels, ivy, etc.. It feels amazingly good to declutter my lawn. More sun coming through. The grass IS greener on the other side. Those plants ended up here because a bird or a raccoon or a deer decided to poop in my space. I did not invite them to put down roots. AH-HA! Let me take a look at my own life. Declutter is good. More light, more clarity, more breathing space. I choose what I want to keep and be responsible for. But the other stuff/people/bad juju? The poop fairy delivered those seeds and I might have gotten used to them occupying my space but it is time to say "Sayonara" to those "Bad Seeds". And yes, I am a little sore, but sometimes extracting those things/people/situations isn't pain-free. I see the root of the problem. That's good, isn't it? emoticon
