Getting Started

Friday, February 25, 2011

Getting started is not the hardest part for me. Getting started is easy. It's exciting! The hard paret is staying motivated. I actually began this journey in January but just found this great website. I have lost over 20lbs. You would think that would be motivation enough. It is NOT! I love food. LOVE IT! I also believe I have an addictive personality, so it is very hard for me to deny myself chocolate and other wondeful tasting food!

I'm going to try...really try to stay on track and get this weight off for good. Tonight I go to bootcamp. The crazy thing is, I look forward to going and being tortured. It feels GREAT after I'm done and I know that I am committed to doing it and i feel better mentally and physcially for it.

I empathize! Do you have a cheat day/meal built in so you're not completely depriving yourself? What program are you following?

Glad you introduced yourself. Welcome!! And congrats on the first 20!

Great job on the first 20!!
We sound a lot alike. I'm a 42 year old mom of 2, but mine are 4year old twins, with about the same amount to lose, and I LOVE food! I have found this site to be very helpful. The tools are great but it's the people that make it special. You should join some teams, make sure they are active ones, and make friends! It makes all the difference.

If you need anything or just want a friend in this feel free to stop by my page and say hi.

    You can do this!
