Overeating and Heartburn

Tuesday, February 22, 2011

I have changed the way I eat again. I am back on track with my diet. I have lost 2 lbs. this week. I feel better when I eat low-sodium and low-calorie. My heartburn doesn't bother me as bad. When I overeat I have heartburn really bad and it lasts for hours. My doctor told me that overeating was part of my problem, that I had gained weight since I had been to see her. I have acid reflux and a hiatal hernia and overeating doesn't help either one of those.

Eating fattening foods is bad for me weight wise and other wise. I have to try not to overeat for health reasons all the way around.

It is absolutely amazing how interconnected everything is. The body human is a marvelous machine. A human heart weighs what 2-3 pounds max and an external artificial heart weighs in at over 100 pounds.
