    Hey friend,
Don't beat yourself up! We all have weeks like that. It makes me sad to see you sad. The good thing I've noticed about my bad days, is they don't last as long as they used to. I hope that's the same for you. Think of all the good things you've changed rather than what you're not doing. It takes a lot of courage to make a video like that. Wow! It was fun to hear your voice and see you "live". Good to hear you're fitting into smaller sizes. That's much more important than the scale! Hang in there! It'll get better again!

I'm taking little steps to eat right-I used to use un-natural creamer. I looked up what they put in it and all that stuff can cause bloating and that's not all! So I'm trying to eat real stuff most of the time. Also I am using my computer to reserve DVD's, diet books, novels from the library and that should keep me busy. I am going to check out Denim diet-who knows maybe it will work or just change one thing in my yo-yo dieting. emoticon

The scale is only one aspect of this journey for you and all of us, and a far less significant one than things such as your mental state, how you feel about how you are attacking this journey, and what you see when you look in the mirror. The problem with the scale is that it assigns a number to your success, and that seems to be the bottom line, but isn't.
It's all the other stuff. Try to remember that.

emoticon ... I am a slave to the scale. And, I *used* to let it tell me how I was going to behave/feel/act during the day. Now, I just pretty much except it as a device that monitors my progress (and, unfortunately) failures of the day before. I have thought dozens of times of just tossing the thing out of my window...but, haven't yet! ;)

Congrats on losing 2 of the 3 pounds...that is a great achievement and you should be proud of yourself for accomplishing that. And, yes... we WILL hold you to weighing yourself NEXT Tuesday!! :)

Your VLOG is NOT boring. I give you a LOT of credit for doing a VLOG... I've always wanted to do one..but I'm too shy to do it. :(

Ahhh, The scale. That nasty device. I weigh myself once a week and that seems to be good for me. I've tried going longer, but it doesn't work, lol. You mentioned eating snacks when you have a bad day, and when you lose a few founds. I'm the same way. When I have a bad day I say "well, I might as well.", but if I'm down a few pounds, I say "oh good, I can have a treat!". I need to stop eating the junk foods. I've been very bad about that lately. I won't cut it out totally. Once in a while is OK, but lately it's been every day.

Anyway, you're weighing in twice a month! You can't do it. Don't let the nasty thing tempt you. Have your fiancee hide it until weigh in. emoticon

    Look forward to your updates.

Yay! I reopened it and was able to view it. I could hear you perfectly. I totally get about being a slave tot the scale ... I just blogged that today was my 2nd good day in a row and what I was really thinking is ... "I wonder if how much progress I can make between now and my weigh in on Wednesday". I'm thinking about skipping my weigh in and weighing in next Wednesday, March 2nd instead. I like the idea of 1st of 15th. We'll hold you to that. Glad your son came for a visit. I'm sure that was nice. Thanks for the video blog. Really nice to get to know you that way.
