Worried after surgery

Friday, February 18, 2011

I had surgery on Tuesday. Nothing major but I can't lift anything heavy, exercise, or - worst of all - ride my horse for three weeks. It's definitely a little scary! I bounced up a few pounds right away, which I guess is normal after surgery, but that's come off a little each day. The most important thing I can do is track, track, track. I can walk and I will, but both mentally and physically I know the most important thing I can do is track. I don't have to backslide!

So glad that you came through surgery OK. Hope it was nothing serious! Take it easy and do what the doctor says! If you backslide, just get right back to your usual routine. Surgery is always a shock to your body!! emoticon

Glad you are doing well. I need some of your motivation to rub off on me right now! I ran outside for the first time in ages on Monday and then our weather went nasty again.

You must be tiny?! I can't even imagine weighing in the 120's!!! That is so great and you have been working so hard at finding the balance. I'm really happy for you!

No worries, you will be back in the saddle in no time. I'm hoping to ride this weekend, even if it's just a careful meander around my pasture. We have so much ice it's not very safe footing any where else.

    Take care! Rosi
