Ok, got lazy with the blog updating lol. The weather has been super up and down. So ive been getting walks in as I can but with sporadic snow storms its hard. I need to make sure to play DDR or something when im stuck inside all day. Able to jog a bit more every day, thats a good feeling. My little dog cant keep up when hes on the leash so I either find a place he can be off leash or I walk them both and then leave him inside while I run with the big guy. I was into the Couch-to-5k thing but was struggling doing that with the dogs and also cant manage to keep track of the times lol. Theres an app for my phone I considered buying, we will see. So far im doing pretty decent just regulating myself. Or at least I think I am lol. Definatley need to be riding the bike more! Still get tired out really quick. I want to be able to ride the5 miles into town by the end of March. Its fairly even ground, just a tiny bit uphill (you cant tell by looking at it). So I hope I can do that and spend some time in town. I do feel bad that I cant bring the dogs (big guy would total my bike if he saw a cat lol), but they get plenty of time outside lol.
I am hoping to start Insanity on Monday but im nervous, too. They say youre not supposed to do it if youre overweight at all. Im going to try the first few days I think and see how it goes. If I feel like its not healthy I will stop and try to find something else for uppder body (all im doing right now is cardio stuff- walking, jogging, biking).
I set up a rewards sheet for myself this week with a reward for every 10lbs lost (new water bottle, new bike light, hair cut and colored, new clothes) im really hoping it will help me stay focused. I also took a portion of the wall in my bedroom and covered it with motivational stuff (pictures, quotes, a shirt I want to fit into). Im doing everything I can to keep my goals in mind and stay on track!
Ok. Just got back from a walk time to relax for a bit and veg out! Have a great night everyone!
