The January/February 2011 issue of Weightwatchers magazine has some awesome ideas for incorporating stairs into you workout it helps boost your cardio.

It provided three ways to hit the stairs.

1.At home while watching your favorite TV show walk in place. During commercial breaks walk up and down a flight of stairs . This can be in your apartment, your home or on your front porch.

2.In the gym alternate from the treadmill to the stair climber in 5 minute intervals.

3.At the track. Each time you you do one loop head to the bleachers and climb up and down twice.

The benefits can to you can be :
1. Live Longer
2. Butt Toning
3. Heart Boosting benefits
4. East access (stairs can be found everywhere)

I have decided to try this one, I work on the 4th floor of a building, I will take elevator to the 2nd floor and walk the stairs from 2nd to the 4th floor.

    Great ideas! About 24 year ago when I'd gained a bunch of weight I lost it by just going up and down the stairs to my basement 50 times each morning. Its an amazing workout!
