My week is going pretty well... my attitude has much to do with my success!

Wednesday, February 16, 2011

I can't say that this week has been NATURALLY great, because there have been twists, turns, and set backs, surprises, changes, and plain old disappointments.

(laughing) I suppose most mothers could say that is a TYPICAL week for them. I suppose I could say that it a typical week for myself. Most of the time, I just ignore it.

I have a positive attitude about most things. And my positive attitude is something I have to work at... you don't want me to get started about the things I have to deal with sometimes. And I am no where NEAR to being perfect! I get quite cranky and vocal at times. (Who doesn't?)

The truth is that I am much happier being happier. If things are going downhill, I redirect, I look for the bright side, I focus elsewhere, I look for plan B... whatever it takes, I am heading to Happyville because I like it there. So when you ask me how this week has gone so far... I am going to tell you "pretty well" because I have made it that way with my positive attitude towards my life.

I love this quote and think about it often:

Make it a great day or not, the choice is yours!
