Life Is Too Short To Live It Fat and Uncomfortable!
I have been involved in a nutrition class and it started a new cycle again June 10th. and thats when i decided to be more commited to the diet changes and tracking and doing the things it suggests for weight loss.
SEPT 2nd 2009
The class just ended today Sept 2nd. I lost 28.4 pounds!
If anyone wants to find out more about joining a class in the Anchorage area I know who you could contact :) Its information works well with this site and it gives you a weekly accountability group. :) I really like how easy the diet tracker is on this site. And how they have menu options.
I am involved in bootcamp classes at the gym and occasional Zumba class, which is a ton of fun! My main source of activity is the gym. And the Part time job I have as a banquet server. I am also a part time massage therapist, so everything I am doing now is really physical which is good. :)
I am engaged to a wonderful man who unfortunatly is gone most the time on the slope. Those of you from alaska know what I'm talking about. We are getting married in a few short weeks in Vegas! So excited! and finally at the point (with my weight) i feel comfortable enough to go dress shopping! :)

I am back on spark! i hope i can be faithful again. i have gained weight back and need to reverse this again! I hope i can find a reasonable work out bootcamp type program. without membership anywhere. its all so expensive.
It felt so good to be getting into mediums and size 14 and 12's. now i'm back to 16!! ugh!!!!! not happy about that.
I am back to size 16s (tightly) very tightly... if they werent stretchy it would be 18s again. i'm about 204-205 now. I am gonna get to watching what i eat better again and walking on beach and playing in the water to get my excercise! sometimes that tide is strong and the resistance is sooo good for me. i really feel the workout just trying to walk and avoid getting pummeled by a wave. lol i dont feel good about my fat, and my face and neck look so unhealthy. (along with the rest of me). i really want to get more active. I had worked outside the state park in ak this summer so i did lots of hiking so my stamina is up but i was still eating poorly. so hopefully i can get back on track now... 70 pounds to go!

I hope to check in more faithfully. I am living in mexico. I have been here since Sept 2010. I started tracking my wieght again Oct 5th at 205 pounds! I hadnt been on spark people since about May of 2010. I got busy with a seasonal job and then came here after. Now i'm taking advantage of walking the beach and playin in the ocean whenever possible. its helping a lot. :)
I think being in more sunlight and warm weather helps keep me motivated to go get my excercise by walking on the beach. :) I am now about 185-186. I hope to lose about 10 more pounds by the time i leave. but we'll see. :)

Its definatly a mental challenge to keep pushing yourself to walk further and harder when the scale shows a pound increase instead of decrease at times. but bit by bit, its going down!! and it may not look like much when you go down a .66 pound but maybe the next week will be 2 pounds or 1.5 and slowly slowly slowy at times you start to realize "hey! i am down nearly 25 pounds from where i started! so that IS SOMETHING!!! keep going keep going!!!!" I dont know if it will happen but hoping to break out of the 180s in the next week before i leave mazatlan. that means, losing a solid 2 pounds. 181.87 as of today. i hope i can do it! " come on body! YOU CAN DO IT!!! :) "
