I was just thinking this morning about my back strain last Wed. which I wrote the extremely long blog about last week! (thanks to those who were so thoughtful and actually read the thing!). anyway, what hit me this morning is the fact that in the past when this has happened, before I lost 30 pounds and started exercising almost everyday, this problem would have layed me up for weeks and I usually ended up in therapy for months also. I am here to tell you, I am almost back to normal in 6 days!!! I do believe this is do to being in much better shape now.

A HUGE BENEFIT OF HEALTHY EATING AND EXERCISE!!!!! I do the dance of joy in this knowledge (well,carefully do the dance of joy) emoticon

    I know about backs because in my life now I have 10 degenerating disc from my neck to my spine. Messed up swimming which I love but I still bowl, do what ever I want. I also know sometime I will have to stop but till then I go for it with pain meds but as long as i can walk I'm playing.

    LOL careful dance of joy is still joy. Isn't it great!! I got a flu shot like I should but am having flu like symptoms now (not a reaction to it as it was months ago). My back is still hurting and numb/itching/tingling. The exray was pretty normal wear and tear. Now I need a nerve conduction see why this is going on. I am a little scared of what is happening, actually.

    I know that whatever it is, I have been living healthy and it will help in the long run.

    I am glad to hear you are feeling better after just 6 days. Less weight and building muscle does help. I have had the same experience as you. Makes for a great reward, doesn't it.

    I am glad to hear you are feeling better so quickly. I agree, since I started to be healthier, I find I am sick less and injuries do not last as long. It's just proof that if we take care of our bodies they can get through anything!
