Week 2 of maintenance

Weighed in yesterday, down two pounds, which is good. But I can't go any lower than that or I blow my goal of making lifetime at WW. The rule is no more than two pound under or above your goal weight.
Besides, I don't want to be too much smaller, just want to firm up and get a hard body. emoticon emoticon

Up till my mid 40's I was pretty thin, all lanky and what I felt was awkward, and during my adolescence I was teased for being "boney". Now that may not sound like a bad thing to anyone who has some weight on them, but as a skinny girl, it was horrible. My self esteem suffered during that period in my life. Being called Olive Oyl sucks! Maybe that explains why I'd rather look like a "brick house" than a "skinny minnie".
I'm a girl who wants nice meaty, firm thighs and hips. It won't hurt if the girls remain "Ds" either.

I'm working towards achieving lifetime status at W.W. so I can stop paying for the meetings. Let me tell you, money is a pretty good motivator!

This week I did the P90x plyometrics with a few co-workers, WOW! It was such a challenge.
(I case you are unfamiliar-Plyometrics is cardio...HARD cardio I might add.) A few times I thought I'd pass out because I couldn't catch my breath, OM gosh my heart was beating so fast. I am pretty sure that's where the 2 lb. loss came from, that one session.

I did the best I could, even pushed myself a little more and more as we got more into it. I felt so good after that class! It really feels good to push your body, and then be amazed to see how it responds back to you.
All in all this has been a good week. Looking forward to this weekend just to rest!

I want all of you to enjoy yourself and have a wonderful weekend!
