This morning I weighed myself (missed last week's) and was surprised that I had lost 5lbs. YES!!
With my work schedule I don't have a lot of time for cooking and food preparation, but have been trying to make healthy choices and be very conscious of what I'm eating and how much. Probably the biggest change I've made so far is on my water consumption, although I am still not up to 8-8oz glasses per day, I've been averaging between 32-40 oz per day. And that is really good for me, before I barely ever drank more than 4-8oz per day, if that! I'm a coffee drinker, used to drink coffee all day and into the evening. I've managed to cut way back the last few weeks to only 3-4 cups per day. So, I just keep telling myself, baby steps will get me there. Slow and steady will win the race, or in this case, get me to my goal!
