Even though I have multiple medical problems, I know I can exercise somehow ! I'd like to know how to overcome my worst problems which are laziness and couch potatoitis ! I am a retired teacher living in sunny Florida. I know you'd think I'm in a perfect situation to exercise. But I can come up with million excuses for NOT exercising. Help !!! I need some suggestions.
I was a couch potato too and sometimes still am. I have found out that after I exercise, I feel so much better about myself. I feel like I have accomplished something. I started by simply walking. I love being outside and now I walk around the parks and in our little neighborhood. Simply deciding to get up and walk, even for a few minutes is a great accomplishment. Perhaps you might try some of the short SP videos that are meant for office situations or using chair exercises for your strength exercise. For cardio, if you listen to music, try moving to it for some dance (for maybe 10 minutes or more). 3630 days ago
