HCG and the Commited Vegetarian

It is great to know that there other vegetarians out there doing HCG! I have been veg for almost 20 years and about 5 years ago my thyroid took a dive and I kept putting weight on steady. It was very depressing for me. I have a history of yoyo weight, bulimia and emotional eating. This changed when I started doing yoga and became veg ( I also worked on my inner stuff) I maintained my weight with no effort after becoming veg and then no matter what I did, I could not stop the weight gain and then I gave up.We were going under a lot of financial stress and I just ate away my stress and packed on another 20lbs on top of the slow weight gain from my thyroid and being peri-menopausal
I share all of this to show how much HCG means to me!
I am a self proclaimed sugar slut and dairy slut!
I cannot believe that I have gone a week w/o dairy, sugar and grains and have not missed it! The HCG drops have taken away my cravings! I am the lowest weight today then I have been in 3 years!
I have been doing this diet for 9 days and I am in shock!
I have lost 8lbs! I have energy! No crazy hunger! Eating meat and eggs was not an option for me. I have been doing a lot of research and asking questions and this is how I have modified the protocol
Breakfast - Oolong Tea ( great for fat burn) 1 Tablespoon of Braggs Organic Apple Cider Vinegar, B12 drops & Metabolic supplement from my HCG supplier
Lunch- Green Smoothie - 1 veg, apple or strawberries, 100g soft tofu or Hemp protein, fresh ginger, mint or parsley depending on the veg
Dinner - 1 Veg and Soy Protein (Asian markets have great fake meats)
I do either one of the HCG recipes for Soup or Salad or one
of the veggies steamed with the extra firm tofu or soy meat
Dessert 1 orange or 1/2 grapefruit and Natural Calm Lemon Drink with Stevia

Extreme mid day hunger - Miracle Noodles ( zero calories) and Miso with green onions, cilantro, seaweed and ginger
I have gone rogue by adding in Shitake Mushrooms
Lots of water and tea! Organic food as much as possible!
I also believe that the support that I have received from these forums from other HCGeers has kept me from cheating!
I hope this helps other veggies who are also doing HCG
