Frustrated.

Wednesday, February 09, 2011

I'm feeling frustrated today. Even though I know it took a while to put the weight on and it will take a while to get it off, it's still frustrating to be making the effort and not have the pounds melt effortlessly away. I feel like I'm on the brink of losing motivation; think I may stay off the scale for a week or two and just focus on eating right and working out.

    Hang in there Zaggityann!!!!

I know it's frustrating. But just like Tquarry said, sometimes the scale doesn't move but the inches are coming off.

Yep you are where I was. I'm staying away from the scale also. I have a dress that I'm going to try to use as my scale and make sure I meet all of my challenges and goals outside of the scale. the scale is not always friendly so it needs a break.

Don't give up.....these things take time. I am NOT a scale watcher. Everyone is different and some folks need to get on it every day. I got rid of my scale when I realized that what the scale said seemed to set the tone for the rest of my day. I do have a wiifit that I step on once a week, but don't trust it's accuracy completely. And when I was in lose mode I did usually go to my mom's and weigh in every week....or every other week depending on how I felt me progress was going or not going!! Do what works for you..but please don't give up because you are not seeing the numbers changing quickly enough. Losing motivation huh????? Well what can we do about that???? Guess you need to read some blogs and success stories and re-envision what you want to feel like and look like when you eventually reach that goal weight!! And think about how you are going to reward yourself when you get there. I hope you are giving yourself small rewards as you move along. It really does help!!
Stay determined and don't lose site of your goals!
    You will get there
