Just like my exercise routine that I change up daily or every other day via the sparkpeople video. I have been making alterations to some of my recipes that my family enjoys, making them have less calories and fat.
I don't tell my family what I have done and they seem to enjoy them just the same if not better. Lately, I rarely have leftovers..
I also have been trying out alot of recipes from sparkpeople but putting my little twist to them since I know my families taste buds better than anyone,
Just letting everyone know there are alot of really good recipes to be found at SP.
Even little Lola, my 2 yr old enjoys them.. She will say "I wike it mommy"
I have always tried to cook really healthy making sure everyone had the veggies, protein and carbs daily. Making them watch serving sizes....
Today I made butternut squash soup using a recipe I found, however, I like to kick things up a bit in the kitchen... I added a little red pepper flake and a couple splashes of louisiana red hot.... Ladies let me just say it will make your tongue slap your brains out... It is super good..
One last thing, I still have not weighed so I don't know what my weight loss is at this point, however I can tell by my clothes and via others comments. So i can handle not knowing a number at this point...
It want be long before I will have to make some alterations to my clothes and this is a really good thing..
