Sumpin I like! # 4~ Pandora Radio!

Monday, February 07, 2011

Ever dream of a radio that had limited commerical interruptions and only played music you loved... and mabbe suggested a few new artists in the same genre? A radio where you can vote on what songs stay and which ones are given the boot?

Well then the free version of Pandora Radio is for you!
It plays thru your computer. If you're ambicious you can hook it up to your stereo speakers.

If you positively can't abide commercials, for a fee you can listen without interruption.

I'm not that big an audiophile, I'm content with my free Pandora.

Here's the addy... check it out and let me know if you like it!

Ooooooooooh, I love Pandora!! I listen for hours a day... On my computer, on my iPhone (yes, there's an app for that, lol)... Pay the $36 bucks a year, it's so worth it not having limits on listening or commercials.

Maha, look into Hughes Net. I live in a rural area, but we are close to a transmitter so I use Clearwire BUT many of my country friends use's satellite Internet so it's available everywhere...

I haven't gone over my hours yet and so far its free. Hmm. Mabbe its different in different parts of the country?

I LOVE PANDORA TOO -- and also discovered wonderful new-to-me artists. BUT I CAN'T USE IT -- BOO HOO HOO!!!!!!!!! emoticon

I live in the country -- no high speed internet or any other option EXCEPT a connection card that you get through your cell phone provider. It has a limit on service after which you are charged exorbitant rates on top of an already ridiculous basic rate. Pandora makes me go over. I get SO SICK of corporate greed and lack of customer service. But that's a whole OTHER story.

Anyway, I wanted to add my love of All.Things.Pandora!!!
BTW, it was when I added Pandora to my day -- hours of it -- that my Sprint bill went through the ceiling #@!@#!!

Yes, I discovered them awhile back,-my brother told me about them. But haven't used them lately. When I first joined them years ago, they had unlimited listening for free-(at least I think they did), now it is limited-not sure how much offhand. But, I really enjoy them when I do listen and discovered some new artists through them too.

Pandora only gives you so many hours per month of free listening. Another site that is free and similar is Listen to both especially when I am sewing. Keeps me company.
