Biggest Loser - Downsized

Last Tuesday I was watching BL and came to a realization...I can do what the contestants are doing, just on a smaller scale. So, Wednesday morning my mind starting working on it. At first I thought that I would go for burning 500 calories a day working out for seven days. In theory I should be able to lose 1 pound, since 3,500 calories is 1 pound. Then I went further and decided to eat 500 calories less a day than what I need to maintain my current weight. Again, I should be able to lose 1 pound in one week doing that. I found three websites that gave me my calorie intake to maintain and came up with a range. Then I subtracted 500 calories from that range to get the range I need to "lose the pound".

I am even going to go cold turkey on the pop, since I know they don't drink it while on the ranch. And I am going to stay away from processed foods as much as possible. I know they still eat some processed stuff on the ranch so I figured cutting it out all together is not necessary. AND I am even going to go a whole week without weighing, since that is what they do on the ranch.

I am starting this experiment out Wednesday of this week.

In a perfect world, come the following Wednesday when I weigh, I should be 2 pounds lighter. I am interested to see if this works.
