I have decided that inorder to meet my long term goals, I need to set a daily goal. Today, my goal is to not eat any refined sugars. I can satisfy my sweet craving with FRUIT, or a bit of honey on toast.
Change takes place with making small changes everyday. I am becoming what I want to be by doing the things my future self would be doing.
I have a family reunion in July. I will be 145 pounds by then! I WILL!!!! I am the only one stopping me. No more EXCUSES! I CAN DO IT! I will make small changes each day, small sacrifices, that will lead to my end success.
I will tell you tomorrow of my success in my goals for today! I am accountable to myself for making it happen.
We have talked about having one more child. We would start trying after the reunion. I have PCOS, and have a difficult time getting pregnant. What has worked best for me is eating very strictly, meaning NO sugar whatsoever. I think if I start doing this now, before we start trying, I can get my cycles to be more regular, thus leading to an easier time concieving. This will be our last baby, if we have the fortune of actually concieving. I want to be in excellant condition before getting pregnant. How is that for motivation?! (Is this TMI or what ?)
