Back at it

Yesterday after posting my blog, I decided to clean my house. A few hours later, I decided to go for a run. I hadn't ran since the 29th of January. I considered restarting C25k program because I have been struggling with the longer run intervals and the 20 minutes. So, back to week one.....the 5 minute warm up walk was smooth...on to the first 60 second run interval....I wasn't ready to walk again, so I kept running for 8.5 minutes....then walk for 3....run 5 minutes...walk 90 seconds...run 3 minutes....walk 2 min....run 4 min....and the walked 5 minutes. I did better than I thought. Afterwards, I did some strength training. Needless to say, my abs are sore today. About an hour afterwards, I felt a headache coming on. This weather is reeking havoc on my sinuses. Typical for South Louisiana. There temperature can change drastically 2-3 times a week.
Mentally, today is a better day than yesterday. I had a ton of thoughts running around in my head yesterday. But, I believe that the running helped calm my mind. I am hoping the book I ordered will come in today. I will begin reading "Healing Your Aloneness: Finding Love and Wholeness Through Your Inner Child" Margaret Paul & Erika J. Chopich
After reading excerpts from several books, I believe this one fit my symptoms most. I am hoping to learn some techniques to build my self worth and confidence.
