High blood pressure

Sunday, February 06, 2011

A while ago I tried to give blood in honor of my dad, who as often as he could gave blood. They couldn't take my blood because my blood pressure was crazy high, which I connected to the stress of loosing my dad, but i set up an appointment and found that I indeed have a problem. I also had bloodwork done and found that I have high cholesterol and high glucose levels. So all things are not looking good. They put me on two meds for my blood pressure and said they will check me again and put me on more meds for my glucose and cholesterol if things don't look better in 3 months.

It's obvious my health is out of control and I'm way too young to have these issues. So I'm going to turn it around. I have to.

Taking care of YOU is the very best way to honor your dad! Every father wants their child to live a happy, healthy life. Ya know the old saying....before you can love another, you must first learn to love yourself!
It's so true and once you've spent some time loving and caring about your life and your health, then you'll be able to share some of that new healthy, vibrant blood you have flowing through your new healthy, vibrant self with someone else in need.
    Good luck to you!
