Thinner Thursday....

I thought maybe if I put the title down in writing it will happen, kind of like "If you build it, they will come".
Thank you everyone for your encouragement I have not figured out how to respond to each post or if there is even a way to?

We have gotten someone interested in the rental house to buy it, so please everyone pray that it will work out. emoticon

I did stray last night I ate to much apple sauce with animal crackers, BUT, I am proud it was not the usual bag of chips I would have done in the past.

I am still looking for an easy to understand Bible Study if anyone knows of one.

We had a sad evening last night, my daughter went out to feed Fuzzy (our chicken) and an animal had gotten into the pen and killed him emoticon

But looking to the good side, on my new job we had a Webinar and it went very good for our first one. I am getting very excited about this job and what it may bring.

Stealing this from another blog I saw here are my goals for today:
1. Drink all my water plus some
2. journal all my food
3. stay w/in my numbers today
4. finish cleaning the rental house
5. Bible Study

Again I want to thank all of you for your words and encouragement...

It sounds like you made good eating choices yesterday! Applesauce is way better than chips! Way to look on the positive side.

Sorry about the animal and I don't know of any bible studies offhand.

    Have a great day!

I love "group" Bible studies, but they're not always possible to find. My favorites so far have been Beth Moore studies. I JUST bought Kay Arthur's "How to Study your Bible" and the accompanying workbook. I am fascinated by her system of "marking" her Bible and taking it apart line by line and word by word. I haven't started it yet, but I'm planning to next week. I also started reading my Bible through again on the 1st. I did the 90 day program last winter and it was just faster than I cared for. I'm going to do a 6 month "attack" this time. And instead of reading it cover to cover, I'm reading it chronologically this time. I think it will be interesting.

If you can get your hands on a copy of Beth Moore's books..."Get out of this pit" "So long, insecurity" or "Breaking Free", they are awesome books! They're really making me look at some stuff that I had no idea even existed deep inside. You might read one of them and look up the verses that she includes.

Another thing is that I have started memorizing Scripture--just a few verses a month. My January verses were Ps 40:1-3. Check them out!

    Hang in there sweetie!
