It Won't Work!!

So I really wanted to upload my first vlog for you guys, to update you on February and such but for some reason my videos keep getting cut off. Maybe next month. emoticon

Anywho, for February (a.k.a my birthday month, yay!) I've decided to go back to some prior goals. I want to work on consistency for this month, so really aiming for working out 5 times a week. So far that hasn't worked out because the gym on campus keeps closing due to the snow (and yet classes are still not canceled. It makes no sense to me.) I'm slightly frustrated in that aspect because all I keep thinking about is my weight loss.

My second goal for February is get up to running 3-4 miles. I'm at 2 miles at this point which is really disappointing to me because this time last year I was at 3 miles and I'm so angry that I just let all of that progress go. In addition, I want to implement eating clean. I tried eating clean over the past year to year and a half but I was feeling really lost as to where to start and how to go about it since my mom buys most of the groceries and since I'm still not cooking/preparing most of my meals. The cooking is the other half to that goal. The Flat Belly Diet cookbook has been sitting around my room for the past like 2 years so I really want to start making some of the recipes. Finally, I'm hoping to lose about 8-10lbs in the month of February. It would be such a nice birthday gift to myself, dedicating the time necessary.

    Yes just don't give up. I know you know it's hard to make a comeback. Just keep at it the 3 miles will come. Then we will celebrate that day with you :)

    Great goals. Maybe you could offer to give your mom a break in the kitchen and then cook the clean meal. Or, perhaps your could find out if your mom is interested in changing her cooking habits. The two of you could practice together. I am sure you will find a way.
