My Favorite Workout DVD's

As a stay at home mom I am busy watching 3 kids all under 4 (2 are mine and 1 is my nephew that lives with us). So needless to say I have no time to make it to the gym. I consider myself fortunate to have found some dvd's that I love and are assisting me in my weightloss journey so I wanted to share :)

First is Jeanette Jenkins I have about 5 of her DVD's and I love her!! My favorite's are the 45 minute Kickboxing Bootcamp, the Bikini Bootcamp and the Blast Your Belly Fat the last 2 you can choose the duration by picking which circuits you want to do that day. I find the Bikini Bootcamp to be a very intense cardio workout and I feel so awsome after I complete it. The Blast Your Belly Fat is pretty intense to and for a change it adds in the excercise ball.

Then there is Jackie Warner I have one dvd of her's called One on One Training with Jackie Warner. This is a good circuit workout that has 3 routines and you can chose how many you want to do that day. In the future I would like to get more when I change up my routine.

I have just been introduced to Jari Love the Get Ripped series and I love love love these dvd's. They are something different than the dvd's mentioned above these ones are more about using weights and building definition. I have tried the Get Ripped Slim and Lean and the Get Ripped 1000 and will be trying the Get Ripped to the core this week.

So between all my dvd's, the treadmill and chasing kids I have found an excellent balance of cardio and strength training.

    I've never tried the other dvds you mentioned but I * love * the Ripped ones. I have all of them and Ripped to the Core is my favourite by far! I think it shows the best modifications and has the best cues. That was important for me the first few times because I'm not at all coordinated!
