Thank God it’s February! I need a clean slate, a fresh start, and new challenges! Not that I need a Monday or start of month to get on track. When you want to turn it around, any day is good day. I remember I started my journey in 2009 on last week July on a Tuesday.

So, recap of the last 2 weeks of Jan:

Sat 1/15: 9.5 mile Fun Run (95 min)
Sun 1/16: rest
Mon 1/17: run 3 mil/31 min out
Tue 1/18: stationary bike 31 min, circuit training (Jackie W.) 30 min
Wed 1/19: rest
Thu 1/20: run 4 mile/41 min out
Fri 1/21: run 2 mile/20 min out, strength 22 min (Biggest loser LCW)
Gained 2 lbs this week!!! emoticon

Sat 1/22: stationary bike 33 min, Abs 11 min.
Sun 1/23: run 7 miles/73 min out
Mon 1/24: stationary bike 45 min moderate, 30 min vigorous with hand weights
Tue 1/25: rest
Wed 1/26: run 4 miles/42 min treadmill
Thu 1/27: PMSing lazy bum emoticon
Fri 1/28: PMSing lazy bum again!! emoticon emoticon
Gained another 2 lbs this week! emoticon

Sat 1/29: 47 min stationary bike, 30 min circuit (Jackie W.)
Sun 1/30: run 6.2 mile/60 min out
Mon 1/31: 41 min stationary bike, vigorous with hand weights

Nutrition was on point the first week with at least 4 – 6 servings of freggies a day. Then the last week went from ok to bad to worse for both food and exercise. It’s no wonder I gained 4 lbs in 2 weeks. I could blame a very busy and stressful work week, my son’s baseball activities, PMS, relationship drama, etc, etc, etc. At least it could have been worse. I could have thrown in the towel for the rest of the week and ruin the end of the month. But I picked it up, got over it. Ended January with my head up. Went food shopping. Stocked up on the fresh stuff. Planned meals for this week. Even bought cute sandals, a nice T-shirt and a bikini!! Woot!!! Bring it on February!

Total Jan calories burned: 8,635 (average 1,727 per week)
Total Jan fitness minutes: 1,151

In February (this Sunday!) I’ve got my 2nd half marathon that I’m SUPER excited about. More on that in another blog. My word for 2011 is LOVE. And no other month reminds you more about love than February. I’ve got new workouts lined up for this month. And I’m looking for a February challenge!!!
