Miscellaneous Rambling... (aka I'm not feeling organized today)

I finally saw a wedge tailed eagle. I'd heard there was a pair living on the hill near our house. It was very high up, circling for prey. Too bad I didn't have my camera! They're big enough to take a kangaroo, I've read. I admit I looked up "wedge tailed eagle attacks" on youtube... I'm a worrywart. emoticon

I went for a hike with my 7 year old yesterday, and it was *hot*. About 38 C (96 F) and humid. We made it most of the way up the hill (not the one with the eagles), but we'll have to leave the summit for some other time. He got too tired out to continue. Next time we won't go at 10 am!

I'm writing down my exercise plan for the next few months. I've decided to simplify so that I'm more likely to stick to my plan.

10 miles a week walking: Both my kids are in school at the same place now, so I can walk them there. We can walk 3-4 days a week (preschool is only 3 days a week). So that's 6-8 miles walking right there.

strength exercises 3 times a week

swim once a week.

Back to PT because my arm's bothering me again.

I have a new timeline. My brother's getting married in June, so I'm using that as a goal date. I'm going to his wedding alone (too $$ for us all to go), and I'm already stressing about the travel. I love visiting places, I just hate airplanes, and this is going to be 20 hours on the plane.

That sounds very doable. That plane ride gets more difficult with each trip. Maybe by June all that snow will be gone. LOL. I've now got my sights set for April 13 for motivation. Our 10th anniversary. There is a reserve just over the hill. You would love walking the trails through there and seeing all the birds and wildlife.
