How much sugar and what kind is safe?

I had no idea that the water I was getting from Walmart had aspertame in it. I also had no idea how dangerous aspertame is.
Here is what I found online after being told in a child care food program class about the dangers of aspertame.
From 10,000 consumer complaints the FDA compiled a list of 92 Symptoms reported from aspartame use, including death.

I did learn though that Stevia and agave nectar, sugar cane sugar, molasses, brown rice syrup and honey are healthier options than products that are chemically altered. I am definetly changing my way of eating.
