Gotta get up when you fall down!

Yesterday, I had plans to take yoga from one of my favorite instructors. I got up early, did some chores around the house, got a sugar-free chai- yum), and went to get my hair cut (also a favorite activity).
As I was leaving my hairdressers...feeling pretty good about myself...I suddenly found myself flying through the air. There was some ice in the parking lot that looked like water. I landed on my right hip and shoulder. Thank fully I did not hit my head! And, of course, lots of people saw me fly. Wasn't pretty...I can tell you that much.
Really ruined my mood....and, brought me "down" even further.
But, I gotta get up! And, it's a new day
I'm a bit stiff today. My plans for the day include focusing on eating right, gentle stretching, and connecting with others.
Eating right - I'm logging all my food today.
Gentle stretching - doing some gentle yoga stretches.
Connecting with others - teaming up for Shape Up RI
Here in RI there is a state wide fitness challenge called Shape Up RI. There are several of us from the Spark Rhode Island team that are going to participate. We'd love to have others join us! For more information,check out the Spark Rhode Island page.
