Why I Won't Quit in 2011 . . .

I have battled my weight my whole life. I started Weight Watchers for the first time when I was in the 6th grade. I was almost at my goal weight and for some reason I decided to quit. I gained back everything I had lost and then some. That was the beginning of a never ending cycle. I have tried every diet, diet pill, gimmick out there. About a year and a half ago, I went to a weight loss clinic and started taking Adipex. The doctor told me that the only way this was going to work was if I started exercising. I joined Curves and started exercising 3 days a week. I went from 222 pounds to 188 pounds in 7 months. Then once again, I decided to quit. I gained back 20 pounds. I am so tired of this!! I am finally ready to accept that this is an everyday, ongoing battle for me. The only thing that is going to work is a LIFESTYLE CHANGE!! SparkPeople is helping me to make that change. I am exercising at least 30 minutes EVERYDAY - some days as much as 120 minutes. I am still working on the healthy eating, but I am making progress. I have quit too many times. I am NOT going to quit again!! This is the year that I am going to make those lifestyle changes!!
