February Goals

Saturday, January 29, 2011

February Goals:
Fitness
Weight Training:
-Lift heavy 3x per week (M:W:F)
-Monday 6am, two reps with Lucy.
-Wednesday and Thursday three reps by myself.
Cardio: I found my HRM strap so I can track cals burned!
-Spinning from 630 – 655am
-Burn at least 1600 calories in cardio.

Eating
Eat at a ratio of about 40-40-20 (Carbs, Protein, Fat). That means pre-planning
Calories: ~2500 on weight training days, less on non-workout days. I still don’t know how much I really should be eating so this may change depending on how I feel.
Track, hungriness, stress etc. I have a book for that.
I get 4 splurge meals per week. I need to save one for Friday and one for Saturday, because that is when DH and I have time together.

Other things:
-Nail biting. I got back in the habit and want to quit. So don’t bite, but also track when I do.
-Get the taxes done. Yeah I know, early, but that is how we do things. We are going to an actual CPA so let’s see how that goes.
-Get in touch with the pro bono lawyer through BOI (Business Ownership Initiative). The secretary said she would do an introduction via e-mail and it hasn’t happened yet, and it has been months. BOI has gone through some transition etc so I just need to give them a push. Why, looking at starting a Foundation and need legal guidance.

Now I just need to actually do it.

    Loren ~

Sometimes I think I plan pretty well...then, sometimes I see how others plan and am blown away. Your goals...WOW. Not so much what it entails, but more how it is laid out. You are my hero!!!! I have to do something similar because I like the way you have laid it out...again, measurable AND attainable.

Oh...isn't the heavy lifting days just freakin killer! I only do 1 heavy strength a week...you put me to shame!

By the way...HRM...I've been thinking of getting one just because I see others talk about them. When I saw it on your blog I thought...ok...someone I trust and would listen to has one. Sooo...any advice? I don't want to pay a lot...but if cost does make a difference in quality then I'll put the $$ out. What should I look for when researching and buying?

What kind of foundation are you starting?

Seems like you have a great plan. I need to write mine down, so I can stick to it more, the exercise that is. But today I did order Jillian Michaels, 30 day shred and some dance exercise videos. Try polishing your finger nails, maybe you won't want to bite them. I am questioning my calories also. I read the spark and they have a different amoount of calories from what I get on my nurtition tracker. Seems like I am always hungry. You can do this, keep me posted on how things are going emoticon
