Quick hello

Saturday, January 29, 2011

I have not been around much. On the 5th I lost my job. Guess I should of listened to my daughter and not complained of harrasement by my supervisor. Then the following Monday my car got repossesed. That was the final blow. I was in deep depression. Could not talk with out crying for twenty minutes. Final paycheck went to some bills that were already behind.
Found myself flat broke. I am still flat broke but my son and daughter bought me a used car. An 88 Buick no less. But it is in great condition and only had 62k on it. My son in law's mechanic found it. I went for an interview at a small school that gives CNA classes. He hired me on the spot but now we are awaiting to see if the state board will approve my application to teach. That will tak a couple of weeks. It is part time because I decided to take early retirement.
Also applied for disability which would supercede retirement. That will take about 6 months to hear, meantime my social security starts the middle of February. Als waiting for my 401 k money. All in all it looks like the middle of next month before I see any money.
My son was going to get me a house but then he found one he liked for his family. I told him to forget the idea of getting me a house then because with 5 kids they need something larger. Hopefully the mortgage company will work something out with me.
I feel very grateful however because there are others in worse shape than i am. They have no food or shelter. I thankd God for both and for a loving and supportive family.
My weight has suffered. I seem to be constantly eating and just sitting aroundf watching TV or hours on the computer. This morning I woke up and told myself that pity party was over. I need to start taking my medication ( have not done that either) tracking my food and get back to taking care of myself. I had to quit curves but I have a swimming pool I can use, and a rebounder plus my Sparks video. No excuse. Just have to keep the voice of motivation going.
My friends at church are praying and that is helping plus they paid my electric bill. I knwo things will work out.
Hope all my Spark friends are doing well.

So sorry to hear you are going through such challenges. But it does sound like there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I challenge you to get up, out, or over each day and get at least 15 minutes of exercise in - it will do wonders to improve your spirit and give a little spark to you step! You can do get through this. emoticon

It's good to have you back ! Now, take one day at a time and work yourself back into the exercise slowly so you don't injure yourself. Good luck with the new job and hang tight until mid Feb! I hope and pray that everything works out for you!
