Meal planners--How about exercise planners

Saturday, January 29, 2011

The meal planners seem to be working for me. Now I just need to figure out away to keep motivated on the exercise. I do the strength training--boot camp videos easy enough, I have them on my phone, and I can do them just about any where.

It is the Cardio that I can't seem to stick with. It is often just my normal stuff--cleaning, moving furniture, moving heavy stuff at work periodically through out the day.

I need to find a way to stick to cardio every day!

Well, for something to motivate me it has to be something I look forward to and enjoy very much. So ask yourself what do you like to do? Zumba, Run, Spinning, Walk, Karate, Boxing, Aerobics, Kickboxing, Dancing and then find a way to meet that goal.

Zumba classes-Some take zumba classes at a gym but if you are unable to leave home you can now get zumba on DVD or Wii

Walking: Leslie Sanslone Walk Away the Pounds DVD series
    (free on Exercise TV)

    Run: Couch 2 5K Program

    ate, Boxing, Dancing, Kickboxing-Local Gym

Aerobics-Numerous DVDs -P90x, Turbo Jam, Jillian Michaels30 day Shred

It took me a good year to find something that I really enjoyed and exercise doesn't seem like a burden anymore. It's something I look forward too. Three years ago I would have never said that! I wish you the best!

Awesome about the free treadmill!!! emoticon

To get in even a few more steps - (weather permitting, of course!) - when I go shopping, I park as far away from the door as I dare. Every extra step counts!!!

Because it had been either below zero or blizzard conditions, walking had not been that easy. However, my loving husband just found a free treadmill and he is going to pick it up for me tomorrow! emoticon
